22nd ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING – 27th & 28th MARCH 2010
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The 22nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Singapore Cardiac Society is scheduled on 27th &
28th March 2010 (Saturday & Sunday). The venue is at The Grand Copthorne Waterfront
Hotel.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to invite you to submit abstracts for the
free paper sessions to the Singapore Cardiac Society’s email address
scsoc@singnet.com.sg. You will receive a reply through email within five days upon receipt
of your abstracts. If not, please contact the Secretariat at Tel: 6735 6580 for confirmation.
The format as follows :-

| Name(s) of Author(s) : | Please UNDERLINE to indicate the presenter of the paper, Name of Institution.

| Text : | Please do not exceed 300 WORDS

Attached please find the template for your abstract submission.
Please also indicate whether the abstract is eligible for consideration for the “Young
Investigator Award” (Y.I.A.). Abstract without any indication would not be considered
for Y.I.A. 2 major conditions to be fulfilled for Y.I.A. considerations are:
- the principal author must be below 40 years old at end of 2009; and
- the work must be done locally, with the principal author playing a major role in the
study.
The principal authors of the 6 best abstracts will be selected for the Young Investigators’
Award Final Presentation.
The closing date of abstract submission is on the 2nd January 2010. Please note that late
entries submitted may not be considered and printed in the abstract handbook.
