American College of Cardiology - Singapore Chapter
Welcome to the homepage of the Singapore Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (ACC). The Singapore Chapter was formed on January 10th, 2012, after it received the official notice from Dr David Holmes, President, American College of Cardiology, on behalf of the Executive Committee.
The Chapter has 39 Founding Members and 36 Associate Members. The Chapter works closely with the Singapore Cardiac Society, the Chapter of Cardiology, College of Physicians and the Chapter of Cardiothoracic Surgery, College of Surgeons of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore to educate doctors and our community about the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease in Singapore. It will also help ACC in better serving its members in Singapore by facilitating a two-way flow of information between ACC and them, and in providing venues for local members to meet and discuss issues relevant to the practice of cardiology in the city state.
The Singapore Chapter of ACC was officially launched on June 2nd, 2012, during the 2012 Best of ACC Meeting in Asia. Dr Dipti Itchhaporia, Chair of the Board of Governors of the American College of Cardiology, represented ACC leadership in the inauguration ceremony. New initiatives and meetings are in the pipelines and please refer to the relevant part of this website for details.
We look forward to your return visitation to this website, and invite you to participate and contribute to our continuing educational efforts.
